Localstars competition

I’ve had the pleasure to collaborate with A Party Palacein their “Local stars competition”. The aim of the competition was to spread the love amongst our community by asking people to nominate someone they think they deserve a lovely bunch of balloons and a handmade cake made by 7Marvels.

It had been very difficult to choose the top 3 local stars but in the end we have selected three superstars whose  stories really stood out.

Give it up for George, Jenny and Alison who definitely deserved the cakes and balloons!!

George was our first nominee and he was nominated by Amelia. George goes to Amelia’s shop all the time and he adores having a cake and a chat. No wonder Amelia nominated him for balloons and a cake, he truly deserves them! George received our one and only Blueberry Lemon Drip cake which is an absolute stunner. It was a delight for me to make it, as it is one of my favourite flavours.

Our next nominee was Jenny,  coach at Barnes Hockey Club who was a great inspiration for Rebecca as she has always convinced Rebecca to keep on pursuing her passion for Hockey! Jennys is definitely a great role model for Rebecca! For Jenny I made the Unicorn on a Cloud Cake and it has without any doubt been one of the cakes I’ve had the most fun making.

Our last nominee was  Alison who runs a Mother and Baby Group near White City and was nominated by Amanda. Amanda obviously agrees that Alison deserves those wonderful cake and balloons as she is the mainstay of the group! The cake I made for Alison was the Strawberry and Cream cake which certainly shows the delicious and savoury taste of British Favori Strawberries.

Well done to all the nominees, we all hope that you enjoyed the cakes and balloons!!
